Jose is always on time or even early, prices very reasonably, is all about safety for bhimself and his crew, and is as nice as they come. He has his own chipper, too. He doesn’t just top trees, he knows how to prune. You can’t do better.

We had a large willow tree growing on the bank of the creek behind our house in Burlingame. The tree cracked in the last storm and a large part of the trunk bent over into the creek. We were concerned that the branches might break away and cause flooding. We contacted the city and they said the tree was our responsibility. I contacted Rodriguez Tree Service because they had helped us trim trees in our garden two years ago. Jose and his team came today and removed the tree to prevent problems before the storm thats due in a few days. They had to wade in the creek to reach some of the branches. They worked most of the day cutting and removing the trunk and branches, hauled all the debris away, and left the yard clean and neat when they finished. If you need help, I’d suggest that you call them for an estimate.
I just had 2 Magnolia trees pruned by Rodriguez Tree Service and I am happy to report that the service was excellent. They came out on a timely basis and gave a reasonable price, which can be hard to get in the Bay Area. Good customer service all round.Great prompt service and communication! Greetings neighbors, If you’re looking for a professional tree landscaping company, look no further than the Rodriguez Tree Service Company in San Carlos. Rest assured I don’t work for them nor was I asked or paid to write this review. I live in the Belmont Hills where my backyard had numerous overgrown oak trees, and being on a hill, were very hard to navigate through. Initially my plan was to do the job myself, after all, how hard would that be? My wife overruled that plan and that’s when I found Rodriguez Tree Service. Jose Rodriguez came over the day after I contacted him for a cost review and consultation. What surprised me was Jose offered for my consideration not only the trimming I wanted done but went way beyond that in discussing tree removal for added light and shaping my trees to blend in with the rest of the yard. All of which I hadn’t considered. Bottom line, not only did Jose totally reshape my backyard by removing trees, shaping others, that brought about a beautiful transformation to what was a jungle, plants now flourish were they once didn’t. They did the job as scheduled and completed the project in one day, hauled away all the debris and left my yard cleaner than I would have done myself. This job was worth every penny I spent, which by the way was very reasonable and probably worth twice as much as I paid. I wouldn’t think twice about hiring any other tree service company, and my recommendation, you shouldn’t either.I called Rodriguez Tree Service before I even read any of the Yelp reviews…..I made the right decision….Jose came out the same day I called….then after giving me a very reasonable estimate he returned two days later to complete the job..the guys were absolutely fabulous. They were “artists” in cutting some very large dead branches of off 2 trees here in San Carlos……I will call him again to do some more work, and I would recommend them to anyone. Jose was so professional that I cannot believe anyone needing tree work done would not call them first.
Jose and his crew are fabulous! They just completed trimming a prominent tree on my patio, and it looks terrific! In addition to being professional and as nice as can be, he knows the plants by name and is knowledgeable about growth habits and how to maximize pruning and care for the health and beauty of each plant and tree. Jose also has a wonderful artistic eye for landscape design, so the overall appearance of the garden is always being considered. His prices are reasonable and very fair.

Jose Rodriguez did a superb job on our trees recently. We have a view of the bay and we need our trees trimmed at least annually to maximize this. It was the first time we had used Jose and when he came out to give us a quote he spent quite a while assessing the trees and gave us a very reasonable quote. Jose is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet and all of his crew are as well. They did an EXCELLENT job and I highly recommend them.
